Il bombardamento della stazione ferroviaria di Bucarest del 4 aprile 1944 descritto dal sito del 449th Bomb Group di Grottaglie.
All'attacco parteciparono i bombardieri del 449th BG di Grottaglie (TA), quelli del 450th BG di Manduria (TA), del 376th BG di San Pancrazio Salentino (BR), del 98th BG di Lecce, nonche da quelli del 451th BG di Castelluccio dei Sauri (FG).
A seguire, la descrizione del bombardamento delle raffinerie di Ploiesti, un impianto di estrema importanza strategica attaccato il 9 luglio 1944 dal 98th BG di Lecce, dal 450th BG di Manduria e dal 449th BG di Grottaglie.

Il documentario, con taglio fortemente ''militante'' affronta il dramma della distruzione bellica della rete ferroviaria nazionale e degli sforzi che subito furono profusi per riportarla in condizioni di normalità.

Il bombardamento della stazione di Trento del 4 gennaio 1945 operato dal 461st BG di Torretta (FG).

"The first mission of the month of January was a four flight formation which was led by Captain Veiluva on 4 January. The target was the North Marshalling Yard at Trento, Italy, which is located on the railroad connecting Verona and the Brenner Pass. The target was bombed visually for a score of 25 percent. There were no enemy fighters and for some unexplainable reason not as much flak as had been anticipated. The main pattern of the bombs fell on the east side of the marshalling yard with some hits in the partially filled yard and some on the south choke point."
