Già ieri, la Union Pacific Railroad ha organizzato una cerimonia a Ogden, nello Utah, per commemorare l'anniversario. Una grande folla proveniente da tutte le parti del mondo si è riunita per vedere la UP 844 (FEF) e la UP 4014 (Big Boy) poste a naso a naso, come lo furono la Central Pacific Jupiter e la Union Pacific 119 150 anni fa.
