La Re 6/6 11640 "Münchenstein" era nuova di pacca, consegnata il 19 marzo 1976. Fu completamente ricostruita, con nuova cassa e nuovo telaio presso le officine SAAS di Ginevra, dove l'avevano appena costruita.
Ho il modello di questa macchina. Fu la prima Re 6/6 Hag (in scala esatta) che presi nel 1992, verde con fari tondi come all'origine. Ricordo, che solo allora venni a sapere del tragico incidente di Briga e del battesimo travagliato che ebbe questa locomotiva. |

Composizione completa di dodici vetture FS e DB come da documentazione ufficiale FS con E.646 utilizzata da Genova Piazza Principe a Domodossola.

La tabella metallica DB che identificava le vetture in composizione ai "Riviera Express" degli anni '70.
Il numero 260 identificava la prima delle due vettura cuccette DB Ventimiglia - Hamburg Hbf.
Lo stesso numero era riportato sul libro delle composizioni ufficiali delle FS.
