Stadler ha recentemente comunicato la vendita del primo Flirt a idrogeno denominato FLIRT H2.



L'acquirente è l'impresa di trasporti americana San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA). L'accordo prevede la fornitura di un singolo treno (con opzione per altri 4) che sarà impiegato a partire dal 2024 su una tratta di 14.5 km nella cittadina di San Bernardino in California.
Il Flirt avrà due casse più un elemento centrale (PowerPack) nel quale saranno installate le celle a combustibile e i serbatoi di idrogeno. La velocità massima sarà di 130 km/h e saranno disponibili 108 posti a sedere. (Foto: Stadler)
