Düsseldorf, 5 agosto 1938. La BR 18 319 in testa al Basilea-Dortmund (D 307) incrocia la BR 03 259 in testa al Berlino-Colonia (D 8).

Nella foto si può notare come la caldaia ricostruita della BR 18 316 (bad IV h 1005 costruita nel 1919) sia più lunga rispetto
a quella della BR 18 323 (bad IV h 1011 costruita nel 1920).

Questa macchina è stata l'unica a non essere sopravvissuta delle tre IV h ricostruite dalle DB nel dopoguerra
e destinate al Centro Prove di Minden.
